About the Role
Levitate Backyard is looking for reliable, hardworking Stagehands to support live music and event
productions at our venue. Stagehands play a crucial role in setting up, running, and tearing down shows,
working closely with touring crews, production staff, and venue management to ensure events run
smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities
● Load, unload, and move equipment including audio, lighting, staging, and backline gear
● Assist with stage setup and breakdown before and after events
● Follow instructions from production managers, touring crew, and technical staff
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stage and backstage area
● Operate basic stage equipment as needed (e.g., risers, cables, stands)
● Adhere to all safety procedures and venue policies
● Be punctual and ready to work during scheduled call times
Requirements
● Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (often 50+ lbs)
● Willingness to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
● Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions
● Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
● Basic knowledge of live music production is a plus, but not required
● Previous stagehand, live event, or production experience preferred
